Merakla beklenen PlayStation 5 etkinliği

Merakla beklenen PlayStation 5 etkinliği için sürpriz bir gelişme yaşandı.

Sony tarafından yapılan resmi açıklamaya göre, 4 Haziran'da düzenlenmesi planlanan büyük PS5 etkinliği belirsiz bir tarihe ertelendi. Erteleme için ise şu anda ABD'de tüm ülkeyi etkisi altına almış olan George Floyd protestoları sebep gösterildi.

Sony'nin yaptığı açıklama şu şekilde:

Tüm dünyada oyuncuların PS5 oyunlarını görmek için büyük bir heyecan duyduğunu biliyoruz. Ancak içerisinde bulunduğumuz şu anın kutlamalar için uygun bir zaman olmadığı düşüncesindeyiz. PlayStation olarak bizler şimdilik biraz geri çekilmek, ve daha önemli seslerin duyulmasını sağlamak istiyoruz."

Erteleme kararı elbette büyük bir sürpriz oldu. Sony bu etkinliğe gerçekten de çok ciddi önem veriyordu, öyle ki ABD'nin ESPN gibi büyük kanallarında 4 Haziran etkinliği için reklam filmleri bile oynamaya başlamıştı. Bu kadar üzerinde titrenen bir etkinliğin aniden ertelenmesi Sony için büyük bir karar olmuş diyebiliriz.

4 Haziran etkinliğinde PlayStation 5 oyunları meraklılarına ilk defa gösterilecekti. Yeni nesil oyunlara ilk bakış olarak değerlendirilen etkinlikte yeni bir Horizon, Spider-Man ve Silent Hill oyunlarının tanıtılabileceği konusunda söylentiler vardı. Ayrıca konsol tasarımının da  gösterilmesi bekleniyordu.

The decision to postpone was of course a big surprise. Sony really paid great attention to this event, so that even big commercials for the June 4 event on the US's big channels like ESPN were beginning to play commercials. We can say that it was a great decision for Sony to delay an event that trembled so suddenly.

At the June 4 event, PlayStation 5 games were to be shown to the enthusiasts for the first time. There were rumors that a new Horizon, Spider-Man and Silent Hill games could be introduced at the event, which was considered as a first look at new generation games. It was also expected to show the console design.
